Frequently asked questions
How do I create a workout?
Tap one of the slots on the home screen, set your warm-up, work, rest, and cool-down durations and the number of rounds, then tap Start. Give it a name if you like; it’s saved automatically.
Can I use KiT while my phone is locked?
Yes. The timer keeps running with the screen off, plays your sound and haptic cues, and shows the current interval countdown on the Lock Screen.
Does it work with Apple Watch?
Yes. Starting a workout can launch the companion Watch app, which mirrors the timer on your wrist and records the session to Apple Health so it counts toward your Exercise ring.
Does KiT save my workouts to Apple Health?
With your permission, completed sessions are recorded to Apple Health. You can review or revoke this access anytime in the Health app under Sharing -> Apps.
How do I turn sounds, voice, or haptics on or off?
Each workout has its own toggles for voice announcements, beeps, and haptics in the workout editor.
